Sherrie Pasko, Primary Photographer:
My goal as a photographer is to capture special moments in people's lives and turn those moments into art. I have a passion for great results and I am driven both by my desire to satisfy my clients and by my personal drive to create beautiful, faultless photographs.
My photographic style combines an unobtrusive photojournalistic approach with fashion and fine art influences. I work to capture the unique personalities of my clients as well as the event details in my photographs. This style allows me to find the moments worth framing while freeing my clients to enjoy their day.
Like many photographers, my attraction to photography began at an early age though it wasn’t until high school that I considered the possibility of making it more than a hobby. I went on to I receive my formal photographic education at Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York, one of the top photography programs in the United States.
When not photographically occupied, I can be found participating in many of the sports I photograph. My husband Joe and I enjoy a very athletic lifestyle and we are currently involved in Brazilian JuJitsu, Muay Thai kickboxing, snowboarding, rock climbing, windsurfing, and mountain biking. My participation in these and other sports throughout my lifetime has helped me when photographing events. My familiarity with many sports enables me to better locate exactly where the action will be and subsequently create photographs encapsulating the action and essence of the day.
I also enjoy travel with my husband a great deal and try to visit at least one new place every year. I am very willing to travel to any location for your special event.
